Apparently Europe needs more refugees: Islam is not the cause of terrorism

German Chancellor Angela Merkel began her speech at the Munich Security Council on Saturday the 18th of February by acknowledging that “the European Union right now is in a very difficult situation due to the result of the British referendum … which is very regrettable”.

While she called upon the EU bloc “to do more to integrate our military capacity”, she also admitted that it could not fight terrorism without the help of U.S. president Donald Trump.

“Let me address this very openly. The Europeans alone could not cope with fighting international Islamist terrorism. We need the strength and the power of the United States of America, and their support,” she said.

“I say this because the external borders of the European Union, in a way, are the border that actually separates us from Islamist terrorism, and that very much has an influence on Europe. “

“So co-operation with the United States of America is most important for us, but what’s also very important to me is that Islamist, Muslim states have been incorporated in this coalition, because I think those countries, first and foremost, have to give a contribution.”

However, according to Ms Merkel, working with such states is the only way “we will be able to convince people that it is not Islam that is the problem, but a falsely understood Islam, and the religious authorities of Islam have to find strong language in order to delineate themselves and distance themselves from this fundamentalist and terrorist version of Islam.”

She added, “We cannot do this, we Christians, it has to be done by the Islamist clergy and by the religious authorities.”

After claiming that Western governments are powerless to tackle Islamic extremism, the Chancellor surprisingly followed that up by stating Europe has an obligation to open its borders to even more migrants.

“We have a responsibility. The European Union has a responsibility to bear, accepting those refugees.”

“Just think, Cyprus, after all, is a neighbouring state to Syria, so you see the external borders of the Union are the borders that separate us from those areas where people amass in great numbers … We cannot simply say it’s got nothing to do with us; we have to deal with this issue.”

It is worth pointing out that Cyprus does not in fact share a land border with Syria, being an island nation some 315 miles from the Syrian coast. But that’s none of my business. With regard to the Chancellor’s desire to welcome more so-called refugees, I would like to quote the famous childhood adage,

“Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”

Perhaps Ms Merkel was absent from preschool the day that phrase was taught.

Berkeley Rioters: The REAL Deplorables

On the 2nd of January, protests erupted outside Berkeley University, with the aims of silencing senior Breitbart Editor Milo Yiannopoulos and causing general mayham and destruction, $100,000 worth of destruction to be more precise. The university blamed 150 masked agitators for the pandemonium, claiming that they were not associated with the university and had come as an external organisation, known as ANTIFA.

What is ANTIFA? In short, it is a collective of barbaric thugs, claiming to be anti-fascist. The most accurate description I could find is as follows;

Middle-class champagne socialist/communist/anarchist white boys who don’t like nationalists or fascists. They consider themselves to be rebelling against the establishment, whilst upholding all of its ultra-politically correct views.

Antifa only dislike racism when its carried out by whites, and do not have the bottle to stand up against anti-white racism; leading to many people on the right to refer to them as ‘traitors’. I’d rather just call them morons.

This group of “deplorables” were the masterminds (and I use that term extremely loosely) behind the Berkeley riots, protesting against Yiannopoulos. They succeeded in their goal of getting the speech shut down, but seeing as these radical leftists do not possess even a modicum of intelligence and/or foresight, they did not predict what would happen as a direct result of their traitorous riot. The whole Western World heard the name Milo Yiannopoulos. His upcoming book “Dangerous” which is due for release on the 14th of March, increased in pre-order sales by 12,740%, sending it soaring to the 5th best selling book. They didn’t silence him, in fact they did the exact opposite. They handed him a platform with a mountain of money stacked on top.

One Berkeley student reportedly said, “We won’t put up with the violent rhetoric of Milo, Trump or the fascistic alt-right”. He couldn’t be more wrong. It would be funny, if this wasn’t such a severe problem. Firstly, not once, has Milo ever alligned himself with the Alt-right. And he certainly has never encouraged or condoned violence in any shape, form or fashion. The proof is in the pudding, violence is exclusively used by the left, not the right. Where were the riots after Obama was elected? Compare that with the election of President Trump. Following this turbulent episode, Milo ascribed the violence to the general “Left” and President Trumphinted at the possibility of taking away funds from the prestigious university.

I would almost like to see that happen, solely to see the smug, entitled smirks wiped off the faces of all of those spoiled brats. The sooner they realise that there are people with differing opinions to their own and that everyone has the right to free speech, the better for us all.
